Convex Consulting recently paired up with the Men's Leadership Project, a mentorship program at UVA, and HOWS, a local non-profit organization, in order to build outdoor dog homes for the Greater Charlottesville Area. Convex Consulting's Nick Rupert and HOWS members designed and pre-cut 6 outdoor dog homes so members of MLP could assemble them on Sunday April 24th, 2017. 6 large dog homes were assembled, and will be donated to families in the Greater Charlottesville Area that need them.

These dog homes make a big difference in the temperament of dogs who spend a lot of time outside."When animals are left outside they can become much more irritable, and vicious even, and giving them a home gives them a second life and gives the family a way to keep them without putting them in danger" MLP mentor and UVA fourth-year student Aman Mangalmurti said.

We here at Convex Consulting is committed to helping the Charlottesville Community through community service projects such as this one. Projects like this one continually inspire us, as these dog homes will go on to make an immediate impact on the communities in which they are donated to. This small "Dalmation" of our time was an amazing experience, and we hope to partner with HOWS and MLP in the future. These dog homes served as the inspiration for the dog home designs that we created for Maritime Dog Company. These dog homes come in three sizes; small, medium, and large, and their designs can be found on our Maritime Dog Company Page.
